Conflict of Interest Evaluation
If you are involved in an adversarial situation, please allow us to
complete a conflict of interest evaluation before you give us any
confidential information. Such situations include:
You have been sued for infringement.
You have been threatened with a lawsuit for infringement.
You have been asked to take a license under any intellectual
property.
You are negotiating with another person or company over any
intellectual property.
You expect any of the foregoing in the immediate future.
In order to complete the conflict of
interest evaluation, we request the following information:
(1) the name and address of each adverse (or potentially adverse)
party, and
(2) a description of each item of intellectual property.
The Firm reserves the right to resolve any disputes with vendors or
clients, by binding arbitration.
If you submit information to the Firm, then you are authorizing the
Firm to make sufficient copies of the information for the Firm to
carry out the Firm's business. The Firm owns the content of all of
the Firm's electronic and manual systems, and may monitor all communications
of the Firm's employees as appropriate.
