Mr. Urcia’s practice concentrates on patent prosecution in all phases of practice in mechanical, electro-mechanical, electrical, computer, and communications technologies, as well as due diligence investigations, patent infringement/validity opinions, and litigation support. Mr. Urcia specializes in reducing highly specialized and technical processes and concepts that clients have developed into understandable and appropriate descriptions in patent applications and other documentations.
Before joining Bacon & Thomas in 1988, Mr. Urcia was a patent examiner in the field of dynamic magnetic information storage and retrieval.
